As a part of Taylor's MY Bamboo 4.0 Project, we were tasked with designing and constructing a bamboo structure for Kelab Kebun P3KU, a garden project by an activity centre for disabled children and teens.
Reflection
This project will surely be one of the most memorable for the years to come. It was certainly a very exciting and rewarding experience getting the opportunity to design for the community this early into my architectural journey. From having to redesign our models a few dozen times, going on a few more last-minute supply runs than desired, to finding irreversible mistakes made during the construction process, it was definitely a learning experience, both for working on my own and as a team. These weeks taught me a lot about working in a team, designing for others, and much more.
